The stellar sound quality and accuracy of the performance and control rooms was realized by the venerable design team at Francis Manzella Design.

Lodging, food and recreation options available
Our cozy artist lodging options and private 400-acre property offer plenty of space to relax, refresh, and find renewed inspiration. Between studio sessions, take a break and enjoy the stunning views and miles of forested trails for walking, biking, or cross-country skiing. Guests can prepare their own meals in our fully-equipped kitchens, or arrange to have meals catered by a local chef using fresh ingredients from the many farms here in the local area. TV and wireless internet access are included.

Guilford Sound is leading the way in energy-efficient, eco-friendly construction for the recording industry. The ground-up buildings on the property were designed by Ryall Porter Sheridan Architects and built by David Ross Builders in a concerted effort to save energy and lessen our carbon footprint. With a 30-kilowatt photovoltaic solar array system, ground-source pumps for radiant heating and cooling, high-performance windows, and LED lighting throughout, our main studio building is 100% net zero carbon emissions.
